Returns and Exchange Policy

When you purchase any product from Best Buy for Business you are entitled to its manufacturer's warranty against defective merchandise. Due to some manufacturers' return and exchange polices, you will be required to contact these manufacturers to troubleshoot. In some cases the manufacturer will repair, replace or return your products. These manufacturers currently include Apple, IBM, Compaq, Hewlett-Packard, Sony, Kingston, Panasonic, Acer, Toshiba, Lenovo and others. Please contact your customer service representative or account manager for details.

If your product is not made by one of the manufacturers mentioned above or you wish to return or exchange a product that is not defective, please refer to the following:

» All products returned to us must be accompanied by a valid Return Authorization (RA) number issued by a Best Buy For Business customer service representative or account manager within 30 days of your original invoice date. After 30 days from purchase we can no longer issue an RA and will refer you to the manufacturer for warranty service. RAs expire 15 days after they are issued and cannot be extended or re-issued. All returned products must be 100% complete in original packaging, unopened and in resalable condition. A valid RA number must be written clearly and conspicuously on the shipping label. Incomplete or unauthorized returns will be refused.
» Opened packages: Because technology changes so quickly, we cannot accept product returns or exchanges once they have been opened.
» Closed packages: Before opening each product, please check its packaging and label carefully to be sure you received the correct product and version. If the supplier's original packaging and seal is still intact, you may return the product to us within 30 days from purchase for a refund (excluding shipping and handling charges), subject to a 15% restocking fee (except in Hawaii). Return shipping to us is at your own expense. You will be provided a mailing label and the cost of the label (which includes the shipping charges) will be deducted from your refund. See Return Shipping Charges below.

» Defective Returns: If your product is not functioning properly, please call the manufacturer and troubleshoot the issue. In most instances, their highly skilled Tech Support representatives can assist you in diagnosing and resolving your product problems. However, in rare instances, a product is defective. In such case, you will need to obtain a case # from the manufacturer. Call Best Buy for Business and provide them with the case #. This case # will be utilized to provide you with a return authorization within 3 - 5 business days. A mailing label will be provided and Best Buy For Business will pay return shipping.
» Custom orders, cables, bulk cable, electronic rack enclosures and products designated as "all sales final", "no returns" or similar language may not be returned. Sales of Custom Configured products and Special Ordered products are considered final and not returnable to Best Buy For Business. Labor, installation services, and shipping charges are also nonrefundable.
» Software Licenses: Returned or exchanged with prior manufacturer authorization only.
» All return shipping is at your own expense unless your product is approved to be returned as a defective item. You will be provided with a mailing label that is valid for 10 days. If you fail to use this label, your RA will no longer be valid and your return will no longer be approved. Once product is received you will be refunded in full, less original shipping fees, restocking fees, and return shipping fees. It may take up to 3 weeks for you to receive credit from the date we provide you with the RA. This time includes the 10 days that the label is valid, 3 - 5 days for transit, and 5 - 7 days for the warehouse to check in the product.

Bundles may only be returned in their entirety, meaning all items included in the bundle must be returned together, assuming they adhere to the overall Best Buy For Business return policy. In the unlikely event one product in the bundle arrives damaged or defective, an exchange for that item alone will be allowed with a valid RMA.
